Michele and Dan are each other’s biggest supporters in life and they both told me that their caring nature and encouragement are their favorite characteristics about one another. VIRGINIA BEACH, VA.- The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, a cornerstone of the arts in Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads for the past 60 years, is refreshing its brand with a new logo, website and updated mission and vision statements. Their day was created perfectly for Michele and Dan where they wanted great and simple food for everyone and spending quality time with friends and family who traveled both near and far to be there.
Our 10 featured artists will gather at the Virginia MOCA Satellite Gallery at 600 22nd St, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 to share. Virginia MOCA is an ever-changing museum where neighbors, strangers, students, families, communities, and cultures are invited to explore our shared.

We started the day off by getting Michele into her wedding dress with the best and loving reaction from her Mom! Michele was full of smiles and laughter all day. The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art is a contemporary art museum in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA, located at 2200 Parks Avenue, near the oceanfront. Gordons devotion to the arts and humanities extended to the visual and fine arts realm as well, as she served as a gallery teacher at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) for 16 years. Their Museum of Contemporary art wedding was the perfect venue to dance under the trees without being in the heat! The Bro’s Fish Tacos food truck parked just outside for guests to enjoy. Gordon was also the founding president of the Virginia Stage Associates, a volunteer group aimed at supporting the Virginia Stage Company. Michele and Dan’s Museum of Contemporary Art wedding was a beautiful day including a rainbow over the venue after two large thunderstorms passed through! Dan is stationed in Florida but they traveled back to Virginia Beach to be close to their friends and family for their wedding day.
